A sitting wedge can help you to sit with better posture and provide back pain relief naturally. In essence they provide the effects of a mini kneeling chair that can be easily carried around.
By tilting your pelvis and bringing your hips above your knees you spine will more easily be able to maintain a better position. This will reduce necessary strain and pressure on your spine and the muscles and ligaments around it. Over time this can mean less pain and even better strength.
The Harley 11 degree wedge is made from a standard foam and is our medium firmness sitting wedge.
Please note that this coccyx cut out wedge comes as shown in the photo. There is a cut out area which is discreetly hidden by the cover, this may be too uncomfortable for some people. If so then the Harley or Putnams wedges will be more suitable.

The main difference between an 11 degree wedge and an 8 degree wedge is that the steeper angle encourages you to sit up more. Your pelvis will be at a steeper angle so this means your back and stomach muscles will be working more. This is known as active sitting. All of the correct muscles to encourage a stronger and healthier back will be working away whilst you sit. Over time this can naturally encourage better posture. All Harley wedges come with the option of a fixing strap or not. On most seats you will be fine without a fixing strap if the material of the wedge is going to be in contact with a non-slip seat base. It is only if you are using your wedge on a more slippery surface that you will find it useful, as your wedge may move and slide every time you move and stand up.

All postage costs are calculated for products being shipped within the United Kingdom. Please note, we do not deliver Internationally.
Postage of lighter items £4.95. These items will be sent by Royal Mail or courier service, higher value orders may need to be signed for.
Postage of heavier items (over 10kg) e.g. Saddle Stools £10.95

We often send items out in 1-2 working days but ask you to allow up to 5 working days in case items are sent directly from our suppliers/manufacturers as this can result in a slight time delay. Not any good for me. The coccyx cut-out is covered by material, rendering it ineffective. Had the photo been clearer and shown this, I wouldn’t have bought it.
